Sejak kebelakangan ini masakan yang sering saya hidangkan adalah sangat mudah dan ringkas saja. Disebabkan rutin kerja dan masa yang terhad, suami pula lebih gemar makan yang simple, menjadikan tugas saya lebih mudah.
Rasionalnya kalau dah selalu dihidangkan dengan juadah yang sama, mestilah jemu tekak si suami. Bahaya ni, bahaya ANA...
Cakap pasal masakan yang menggunakan bahan labu, mestilah LABU MASAK LEMAK. Ada juga yang tidak makan atau tidak suka lauk ini. Pada para penggemar Labu pula, pasti terbayangkan keenakkan dan nikmatnya si Labu ini.
Labu oh Labu.... pada penggemar, mari kita kupas apakah khasiat yang diperolehi selain dari kenikmatan rasanya.
Labu kaya dengan nutrisi seperti alpha-karotin, beta-karotin, serat, vitamin C dan E, magnesium, potasium dan asid pantotenik yang bagus untuk merawat penyakit serta labu rendah kalori dan lemak. Alpha-karotin dan beta-karotin adalah antioksida yang penting, dan ianya adalah pro-vitamin A karotenoid yang bagus untuk kesihatan mata dan memastikan fungsi imun berada pada tahap yang bagus.
Manakala beta-karotin dapat memperbaiki kerosakan kulit yang diakibatkan oleh matahari. Selain itu kandungan antioksida ini turut melambatkan proses penuaan dan mengurangkan risiko pembentukan katarak pada mata dan dapat mencegah pertumbuhan tumor.
vitamin C yang terkandung dalam labu juga bagus untuk imun tubuh dan juga mengurangkan risiko tekanan darah tinggi, serangan penyakit jantung dan mengawal tahap kolestrol tubuh. Kandungan magnesium labu pula membantu dalam memperbaik fungsi jantung, manakalan asid pantotenik mengimbangi tahap hormon dan baik untuk mengawal stress tubuh. Malah biji labu itu sendiri mengandungi vitamin E, omega-6 dan omega-3.
Dan yang paling seronok, bukan saja rasanya yang sedap tetapi harga yang menakjubkan. Sebiji labu dalam anggaran 2 ringgit saja, bergantung kepada saiz buah.
